Internet Sites

A very few sites will be mentioned here. These are sites that lead to general information on many aspects of catholicism, a few lay ministry sites, and local catholic sites:

A good source for guidelines in evaluating web sites:  www.library.ucla.edu/college/help/critical/index.htm

www.monksofadoration.org - Scroll down to the section named Catholic Internet Yellow Pages and click on this link. You will be taken to a page which indexes web sites by subject (i.e., Bible; Ecumenism; Sacramentals) and by type of material (i.e., Encyclicals; Theological Texts).  Good starting point.

www.congregationalresources.org - A selective guide to resources in many aspects of applied ministry, in subjects like Worship, Spirituality, and Administration.

www.nalm.org - is the site for The National Association for Lay Ministry, an organization which "...educates and -- promotes the development of lay ministry in the Catholic Church.”

www.dioceseofvenice.org - Diocesan offices and personnel, parishes, schools, the video library collection, and the bishop’s letters are among the information included. www.flacathconf.org provides information from the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops.
